I’ll make it simple, I’m a 20 year old singer/songwriter from Minneapolis just trying to make my way into the big leagues. I’ve loved music since I can remember, and all I have ever wanted was to be a big name music star. I’m into everything from Buddy Holly to Eminem and everything in between. If there was anything that someone could take away from these first few verses is that all I want is to be heard. I want my whole life to be about music.

So why pop-punk? Why rock?

Well, its simple really… Its what I had grown up on. Its everything I know. My sisters always listened to the early 2000’s pop punk scene, and I followed because I looked up to them. Ever since I can remember I’ve been listening to Green Day, Blink-182, Lit, All-American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, you get the idea. They’ve all had a special place in my heart, because being the man I am today has been because of all of those bands. It’s something I’ll always love.

By the way, my name is Rodney, but everyone usually calls me R.J.. I’ve been writing music for a while now, and I feel like this is one way to get them out.
